Dear Friend,
It
is a pleasure to share my experiences with you.
I
have understood that life is full of ups and downs – joys
and sorrows. We have to keep moving forward in a positive manner.
Let me quote Abraham Lincoln – “ I am a slow walker,
but I don’t walk backwards”. This requires motivation
and this should come from within oneself.
I
was a very gifted individual since childhood but failed to make
use of my positive aspects. I was very pessimistic and paid the
price for the same. I realized that one needs to have confidence
in oneself and necessarily faith in the Eternal Power. I also realized
that one needs to be assertive, but not aggressive or submissive.
And that, right attitude alone will see you through any situation.
Finally, I developed the positive attitude “Play to win –
if you are not playing to win, why play at all?” I have made
a comeback in life. I am very grateful to my well wishers and my
family members who stood by me like a rock during my dark days.
I
wish to share another experience of mine. At times, you may find
that you are lagging behind people who are probably having the same
potential as you have or even worse off than you. I suggest that
you do not compare yourself with anyone, because you are a unique
creation of God with a very specific mission assigned to you. Each
one has to find his or her own road and be rest assured that you
will reach your goal sooner or later. My experience again shows
that patience, perseverance and prayer pay dividends in the end.
I
have a request to make. Please be as helpful as possible to all
fellow creations in whatever manner you can; not necessarily only
to people from whom you have received help. We can make this world
a better place to live in for all of us.
And
last of all, my friend, please do not feel that you have been singled
out to go through the grind all by yourself. If you care to listen,
everyone will have a real life storyline to tell. Be a fighter and
not a quitter. A solution to your situation is probably round the
corner. Please do run the extra mile to win.
Bye
for now and wishing you success, peace of mind and happiness.
